TB 500 – Thymosin Beta 4 5mg
TB-500 is a part of the naturally occurring protein called Thymosin Beta-4 (TB4), which is produced by the thymus gland. Although synthesized in the laboratory, this peptide is believed to work well with the other systems of the body, particularly in the creation of new blood cells and muscle cells. It is works differently from growth hormones or Insulin Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1) because it promotes keratinocyte and endothelial migration. That basically means TB-500 can bind into the tissues, thus allowing it to travel long distances throughout the body.
It can repair tissue damage in tendons, muscle, and ligaments, as well as heart, skin, and eyes. Allan Goldstein discovered TB4 in the 1960s while doing research on the thymus gland. Since then, the substance was used for veterinary purposes, particularly on racehorses. However, the research on TB-500 is not yet complete so it is not intended for human consumption. It is, however, clear for use on clinical researchers and laboratory trials.

It is beneficial in treating muscle tears, tendon inflammation, and skin injuries. TB-500 is believed to help speed up the body’s natural healing process. It can also greatly help in addressing minor and major injuries.
The other known benefits of TB-500 include collagen deposition, increased muscle growth, improved endurance, and strength, overall tissue repair, better exchange of substances between cells, improved flexibility of joints, neuron protection, and better hair growth. It also reduces the instances of muscular cramps and spasms. Certain studies also show that substance may increase stamina and endurance levels while reducing fatigue.
How It Works
Thymosin Beta 4 regulates Actin, a cell building protein. Actin promotes cell multiplication and migration. It helps in building new blood vessels and regulating inflammation. Certain studies show that TB-500 can help in addressing ventricular hypertrophy, which is a medical condition also known as athlete’s heart.
According to research, the use of TB-500 is generally safe as it has been used on animals during its testing phase. However, minimal side effects such as a headache and skin irritation at the injected site may sometimes be observed. Other than these, TB-500 is not associated with other symptoms, which is why its use on horses during the early days became rampant.
But technically speaking, research data on the TB-500 is still limited, which is why it is not yet recommended for human consumption. The FDA is yet to receive new studies on this substance to support its function as a new drug. Biochemists, bio-engineers, medical students, and other individuals are encouraged to conduct their own research on the substance to further discover its other benefits.
