How Does PT-141 Work?
During laboratory testing, it was determined that PT-141 works by activating the MC3-R and MC4-R melanocortin receptors, which are found in the central nervous system. This action makes PT-141 different from Viagra and other similar medications, as they work on the vascular system. PT-141 works directly with the brain and the rest of the nervous system.
However, there are also some side effects associated with PT-141. In the test subjects, it was observed that this peptide may cause flushing for about an hour. In other cases, it may also take libido to overdrive, a characterized by abnormally long sexual desire and erections.
However, this substance is yet to be approved for human consumption. The research around PT-141 is not yet complete so it is not recommended by the FDA as of this date. The use of this substance is purely for research purposes.
